What we’re working on at the bench.

From tissue microarrays to better slide handling and magnetic separation: these are the tools we are currently exploring, developing or prototyping.

Development projects, not products for sale. Designs, specifications and timelines may change as we test ideas. There are no orders, reservations or advertised release dates for the projects below. The icons are schematic illustrations, not product photos.

Project 01 / 04In development

TMA creation toolkit

Practical tools for creating small tissue microarrays from FFPE tissue. Imagine a single validation slide with positive and negative tissue controls for antibody testing and staining - comparing them side by side can make interpretation much easier.

What we’re addressing

Making small tissue microarrays with handheld tools. Don’t compromise your validation experiment just because TMA construction seems complicated or suitable tools are difficult to access.

What we’re exploring

Recipient-block moulds and practical positioning tools that support repeatable, hands-on TMA preparation.

Project 02 / 04In development

Multi-slide incubation humidity chambers

Exploring a more practical way to incubate multiple slides for IHC, mIF, ISH and PLA. The last thing you need in the final hours of an experiment is your control slide falling face-down during a transfer.

What we’re addressing

Keeping multiple slides organized, immobilised, accessible and protected from drying during incubations, without introducing unnecessary handling.

What we’re exploring

Developing a multi-slide chamber concept with attention to slide access, stable positioning and humid incubation workflows.

Project 03 / 04In development

Ergonomic multiwell plate holder

Adjustable support for ergonomic manual work with multiwell plates.

What we’re addressing

Long pipetting sessions and repeated access to wells can make a flat plate an awkward working surface. Spend hours working at that angle, and your wrist may start to feel it. A more comfortable plate position could make repetitive work easier on your hands - and your experiment easier to get through.

What we’re exploring

Exploring a stable, angle-adjustable plate support that improves access and supports more comfortable wrist positioning, while keeping the footprint practical for a crowded bench.

Project 04 / 04In development

32-sample magnetic separator

A magnetic bead-handling concept for 32 samples in RNA- and DNA-based workflows - without automatically moving the purification into plate format.

What we’re addressing

Processing more samples should not mean losing track of tube positions or making bead-handling steps harder to access. Once you move beyond 16 samples, plate-format magnetic purification often becomes the default. But depending on the plate and separator, that can limit access to individual samples and make bead handling unnecessarily awkward. A larger batch should not mean giving up the convenience of working with tubes.

What we’re exploring

Developing a 32-position, tube-format magnetic separator concept around clear sample alignment, individual tube access and straightforward bead-handling steps for RNA- and DNA-based workflows.
