Overview
Designed for manual magnetic-bead separation in standard 0.2 mL PCR tubes. The rack holds 16 tubes in a 2 × 8 arrangement and also accepts standard 8-tube PCR strips.
Suitable for molecular-biology workflows including PCR clean-up, NGS library preparation and other nucleic-acid or protein purification procedures.

Why we chose it
Magnetic bead purification is routine across PCR clean-up, NGS library preparation and other nucleic-acid or protein workflows. The job is straightforward: bring the tubes close to the magnets, let the beads collect, remove the supernatant and keep moving.
This is the metal version for people who prefer a rack with a little more weight and a solid feel on the bench. Aluminum gives it that satisfying, substantial feel that plastic simply does not.

Magnetic product: contains strong permanent magnets. Keep away from magnetically sensitive equipment, magnetic storage media and persons with magnet-sensitive implanted medical devices.
