Easy Like IHCby Assay Upp

Overview

ClearUpp16 is a compact 2 × 8 rack for standard 0.2 mL PCR tubes and 8-tube strips. It is intended for routine magnetic bead separation where you want straightforward tube access without moving into a plate format.

Suitable for PCR clean-up, NGS library preparation, CUT&RUN, CUT&Tag and other nucleic-acid or protein purification procedures.

Made for the bead step, not for looking like a machine.

Magnetic clean-up is simple chemistry wrapped around repetitive tube handling. The rack needs to keep tubes organized, accessible and consistently positioned while you bind, separate, wash and elute.

ClearUpp16 keeps the familiar PCR-tube format for a practical 16-sample batch. It is manufactured in PETG in small series, which lets us refine the geometry from actual lab use rather than locking the design into expensive tooling.

Care & handling

  • Clean by wiping with a damp cloth.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct UV light.
  • Avoid prolonged contact with organic solvents.
  • Do not autoclave.

Magnet warning: Contains strong permanent magnets. Keep away from magnetically sensitive equipment and magnet-sensitive implanted medical devices.

Why 3D printing here?

This rack is manufactured in PETG using a controlled additive-manufacturing process. For a specialised tool produced in relatively small series, this lets us keep the geometry tied closely to the workflow and improve the design without waiting for a new mould.
