Overview
Aluminum heating / cooling block for even transfer of heat or cold around inserted tubes. The 24-position format has 11 mm diameter wells that are 33 mm deep.
The wells can accommodate 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL conical or round-bottom tubes and multiple compatible cryotubes. Intended for enzyme storage or transport, cell culture, PCR and other work where maintaining sample or reagent temperature is important.

Why we chose it
Same simple idea, with room for a bigger batch.
The 24-position format is useful when 15 tubes is not quite enough. It keeps 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL tubes upright and together while the aluminum carries heat or cold around them.
It gives you more room for batch work without turning a basic temperature-holding step into another piece of equipment to manage.
