Overview
Aluminum heating / cooling block for even transfer of heat or cold around inserted tubes. The 24-position format is suitable for 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL conical or round-bottom tubes and is compatible with multiple cryotubes.
Intended for enzyme storage or transport, cell culture and PCR when maintaining sample or reagent temperature is important, particularly when wet ice is undesirable.

Why we chose it
Same simple idea, with room for a bigger batch.
The 24-position format is useful when 15 tubes is not quite enough. It keeps 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL tubes upright and together while the aluminum carries heat or cold around them.
It gives you more room for batch work without turning a basic temperature-holding step into another piece of equipment to manage.
