Overview
Aluminum block that evenly distributes heat or cold around inserted tubes. Suitable for enzyme storage or transport, cell culture and PCR when maintaining sample or reagent temperature is important and wet ice is undesirable.
The block provides 384 positions for tubes up to 4 mm in diameter and is compatible with one full 384-well PCR plate.

Why we chose it
384 wells is exactly where temperature control should stay simple.
A full 384-well PCR plate puts a lot of samples into a very small footprint. This block keeps the entire plate format together while aluminum distributes heat or cold around the inserted tubes.
For higher-throughput PCR and sample handling, I like the fact that you can pre-condition one solid block rather than build the setup around loose ice and melting water.

Care & handling
- Wash with mild detergent and water, then dry thoroughly.
- Can withstand alcohol cleaning with ethanol or isopropanol.
- Compatible with bleach and UV decontamination.
- Keep dry when out of use.
- Use suitable thermal protection when handling heated or frozen blocks.
