One rack is often better than four half-empty ones.
Tube storage becomes surprisingly inefficient once a workflow uses several formats. PCR tubes end up in one rack, microcentrifuge tubes in another, and larger conical tubes somewhere else.
This three-level rack is a simple way to consolidate mixed tube formats into one footprint - useful on the bench and in a crowded refrigerator.
